Brunswick further strengthens management capabilities in New York with appointment of Jeanmarie McFadden and Jonathan Doorley; Maria Figueroa Kupcu to focus full-time on client advisory.
Brunswick Group, the world’s leading critical issues firm, today announced that Jeanmarie McFadden and Jonathan Doorley have been appointed as Co-Heads of the New York Office. After six years as Head of the New York Office, Maria Figueroa Kupcu will now focus full-time on client advisory with a focus on Brunswick’s Business & Society and DEI practice groups.
Brunswick’s New York Office is the largest of the firm’s six offices in the Americas. The office is home to more than 200 colleagues working across the full range of Brunswick’s sector teams and practice groups.

About Jeanmarie McFadden
Jeanmarie is Co-Lead of Brunswick’s global Financial Institutions sector team. She has spent most of her career in senior communications roles on Wall Street. Prior to joining Brunswick in 2019, Jeanmarie was Chief Communications Officer at MetLife. Before that, she held leadership positions at Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley. During her 17 years at Morgan Stanley, she rose to be Global Head of Corporate Affairs and was a member of the firm's Management Committee.
About Jonathan Doorley
Jonathan is Co-Lead of Brunswick’s Financial Situations practice group. He advises clients across industries on developing and implementing strategic communications programs related to mergers and acquisitions, shareholder activism and other complex capital markets matters. Prior to joining Brunswick in 2017, Jonathan was a Partner and member of the Management Committee at Sard Verbinnen & Co, originally based in New York before serving as Co-Head of the London office.
