Brunswick's Climate Commitment

Climate change is a defining critical issue facing the world today.  It is a priority for our people, our clients and their stakeholders.  We want to be part of the solution through the advice we give our clients and, importantly, how we operate as a firm.

Brunswick is an advocate of UN Sustainable Development Goal 13, which calls for urgent action to combat climate change.

As the world’s leading critical issues firm, we work closely with clients across the world, supporting and enabling them to be positive actors on climate change and inspiring others to do the same by effectively communicating their commitments and actions.

We also recognize the importance of reducing the impact of our own carbon footprint.  Since publicly signing up to the UN Business Ambition for 1.5°C and the UN Race to Zero in June 2020, we have worked to understand our carbon footprint as a firm.

We have set science-based targets to reduce our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2028. To achieve this, we are taking steps to decarbonize our global operations, including our travel footprint.

Our targets have been validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), which mobilizes organizations to set science-based targets and boost their competitive advantage in the transition to the low-carbon economy.
