Brunswick further strengthens its global Financial Institutions Group.
September 6, 2022 - Brunswick Group, the world’s leading critical issues advisory firm, today announced that Zaman Toleafoa has joined the firm as a Partner in New York.
Zaman has more than 20 years’ experience in providing senior counsel to many of the world’s largest financial services firms on reputation management, media relations and crisis communications. He joins Brunswick after 15 years at FTI Consulting, where he was a Senior Managing Director in the Financial Services team, both in London and New York. Previously, he held a number of senior in-house communications roles at financial services firms in London and New Zealand.
Zaman joins Brunswick’s global Financial Institutions Group and will advise clients on a range of issues pertinent to the sector.

Zaman has more than 20 years’ experience in advising private equity, investment banking, wealth management and asset management firms. His expertise spans reputation management, media relations and crisis communications.
He joins Brunswick after 15 years at FTI Consulting, where he spent more than a decade working in the firm’s London-based financial services practice and the last five years as a senior leader of its New York team.
Zaman received a BA in Journalism from the Auckland University of Technology.
