Brunswick strengthens its Corporate Governance advisory capabilities with the appointment of Trelawny Williams.
8 October 2018 - Brunswick Group, a global advisory firm specializing in critical issues and corporate relations, is pleased to announce that Trelawny Williams has joined the firm as a Senior Advisor. Trelawny joins Brunswick from Fidelity International where he was Head of Corporate Finance and led Corporate Governance globally for the organization. He also serves as a member of the UK Takeover Panel.
Trelawny’s extensive track record in corporate advisory, combined with his deep capital markets expertise and board-level understanding and networks, will further strengthen Brunswick’s Corporate Governance and Investor Engagement offer. Trelawny will partner with clients to help them navigate the increasingly complex governance challenges and opportunities facing businesses today, advising on strategy to enhance long term shareholder and reputational value.

About Trelawny Williams
Trelawny Williams was Head of Corporate Finance at Fidelity International where he led Corporate Governance globally for the organization. Trelawny spent over sixteen years working at Fidelity International, joining in 2002. He also serves as a Panel member on the UK Takeover Panel.
Trelawny started his career as an M&A analyst at Brown Brothers in New York City. He moved to London in 1982 as a corporate finance specialist and worked with Morgan Grenfell and subsequently with Prudential Bache where he became a Director. After serving as Corporate Development Advisor for George Wimpey Plc he joined M&G Group in 1996 to lead their corporate governance and stewardship activities.
Trelawny received a Bachelors’ Degree from the University North Carolina as a Morehead scholar and is a Master of Business Administration, reading at the European Institute of Business Administration (Institut Européen d'Administration des Affaires), Fontainebleau, France.
