April 4, 2022 – Brunswick Group, the world’s leading critical issues advisory firm, today announced that Terence Burke has joined as Partner, Global Head of Strategic Messaging and Firm Events, based in the New York office.
Terence is an award-winning journalist and media executive with more than 20 years of experience working in senior roles at global news brands. Most recently, he served as SVP of Live Content and Head of Global Programming at Fortune Media. Previously, Terence led CNN’s extensive National News operation and worked in the International Newsgathering division, where he contributed to CNN’s Baghdad Bureau as a bureau chief and producer during the Iraq war and was Head of CNN’s Haiti Operations in the immediate aftermath of the 2010 Earthquake. Earlier in his career, Terence was a global affairs television producer and writer at CNN International in London.

He was also a key driver in Fortune’s creation of a successful virtual event business model.
Before that, Terence led CNN’s extensive National News operation, while playing a central role in CNN’s transformation from a legacy TV news operation to a multi-platform, story-first group. Previously, he worked in CNN’s International Newsgathering division, where he contributed to CNN’s Baghdad Bureau as a bureau chief and producer during the Iraq war and was Head of CNN’s Haiti Operations in the immediate aftermath of the 2010 Earthquake. Earlier in his career, Terence was a global affairs television producer and writer at CNN International in London.
Terence received a BA in History from Columbia University.
