Suzy Welch joins Brunswick Group as a Senior Advisor

Brunswick appoints leading counselor to CEOs, best-selling author and business journalist.

September 13, 2022 - Brunswick Group, the world’s leading critical issues advisory firm, today announces that Suzy Welch will join the firm as a Senior Advisor in New York on September 19, 2022.

Suzy is an advisor to executives and boards, best-selling author, business journalist and entrepreneur. She brings deep experience in leadership, change management, crisis management, corporate governance, digital media and workplace issues. Suzy is an adjunct professor at NYU’s Stern School of Business and a regular contributor on The Today Show and CNBC. She is the former Editor of the Harvard Business Review, the author of three best-selling business books and, earlier in her career, was a consultant at Bain.

About Suzy Welch

Suzy began her career in journalism at The Miami Herald. After graduating from Harvard Business School as a Baker Scholar, she spent seven years at Bain & Company as a consultant. Suzy then combined her two career paths at the Harvard Business Review, where she was eventually named Editor-in Chief. In her years there, she conceptualized and edited many articles on strategy, economics, operations and organizational behavior, and wrote dozens more on leadership, change and crisis management, boards, HR and career dynamics

With her late husband, Jack Welch, Suzy is the author of two international bestsellers, "Winning," in 2005, and "The Real-Life MBA," in 2015. On her own, she is the author of the 2008-2009 New York Times and Wall Street Journal bestseller, "10-10-10: A Life-Transforming Idea."

Suzy frequently serves as a moderator at CEO events and has been a frequent television presence since 1996. She currently teaches at NYU’s Stern School of Business and sits on the boards of the Humane Society of the United States and the environmental protection organization, Scenic Hudson.
