Brunswick further strengthens global client development capabilities.
February 28, 2022 – Brunswick Group, the world’s leading critical issues advisory firm, today announced that Spencer Livermore has joined as Partner, Client Development, based in London.
Spencer joins Brunswick from McKinsey, where he worked with colleagues globally to deliver dynamic proposals to clients. Previously, he was Director of Strategy at Teneo. He earlier served in the UK government, both as Chief Strategy Advisor to the Chancellor of the Exchequer and as Director of Strategy to the Prime Minister.
At Brunswick, Spencer will work with colleagues globally to help them bring the full breadth of Brunswick’s capabilities to address clients’ most critical issues.

Spencer brings more than 25 years’ experience providing senior counsel in the public and private sectors. He joins Brunswick from McKinsey, where he worked with senior leaders to deliver compelling propositions and strategies to clients. Previously, he was Director of Strategy at Teneo, where he established and had responsibility for their Strategic Consulting division, advising clients in North America, the Middle East, Europe and Asia and, before that, was a Senior Strategist at Saatchi & Saatchi. Spencer began his career in the UK government, serving as Chief Strategy Advisor to the Chancellor of the Exchequer and Director of Strategy to the Prime Minister.
Spencer has been a senior adviser on four UK general election campaigns, is a former member of the Economic Affairs Select Committee in the House of Lords and a former Visiting Senior Fellow at the London School of Economics.
Spencer received a BSc in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
