Brunswick expands its management capability in the U.S.
Brunswick Group, a leading corporate advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Maria Figueroa Kupcu, currently a partner in our New York office, has been appointed New York Office Head.

Maria Figueroa Kupcu
Maria is a senior advisor specializing in reputation, campaigns, and social purpose communications. She anchors Brunswick’s Business and Society practice in the U.S. and launched the firm’s global stakeholder engagement offer.
Maria’s clients span the consumer industries, energy and natural resources sectors as well as leading nonprofits and family offices. She helped develop PepsiCo’s Performance with Purpose and Anheuser-Busch InBev’s Better World global communications campaigns. She has also worked with industry leaders such as The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, International Finance Corporation, Cisco, IKEA, and World Wildlife Fund.
Before joining Brunswick in 2007, Maria was Director of International Political and Corporate Campaigns for the market research and strategy firm Penn Schoen Berland. She has advised six presidential races, including the 2000 election in the former Yugoslavia and contests in South Korea, Ukraine, and Zimbabwe. Maria began her career with the United Nations, working to reconcile government, business and NGO positions on environmental and social issues such as water risk and labor rights. She has also held positions at the Council on Foreign Relations and the New America Foundation.
Maria is a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School and Tufts University, where she is a board member of the Institute for Global Leadership.
