Brunswick strengthens its Arts offer with the addition of Kim Mitchell as Partner in New York.
Brunswick Group, the corporate advisory firm, announced today that Kim Mitchell has been appointed as a Partner in Brunswick Arts, a leading cultural communications agency and part of Brunswick Group. With over twenty years’ experience in the arts, Kim will help to lead the firm’s strategic advisory work for a wide range of cultural and charitable organizations across the visual, performing and literary arts.
Kim has worked as a Senior Advisor at Brunswick Arts since October 2017, joining from The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, where she was the Chief Communications Officer for ten years. In this role, she helped to enhance MoMA’s global reputation as a leader in modern and contemporary art, and as a top New York City cultural destination.

About Kim Mitchell
Kim is the former Chief Communications Officer at The Museum of Modern Art in New York. Kim spent over ten years in the role which involved oversight of a 22-person marketing, communications, and graphic design team to implement the museum’s global brand. Kim joined MoMA as a publicist in 1997 and worked with top national and international media to amplify the museum’s leadership role in modern and contemporary art and as a top New York City cultural destination.
As a Senior Advisor at Brunswick Arts since October 2017, Kim has worked with clients including Brooklyn Museum, Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields, and the public broadcaster WNET.
Kim holds a Masters degree in Communications Management from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University, New York, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Tyler School of Art, Temple University, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Kim currently teaches Marketing and Public Relations at Sotheby’s Institute of Art in New York, and has guest lectured in the United States, England, Northern Ireland, Canada, France, Australia, Sweden, and Germany.
