Brunswick Group, the world’s leading critical issues firm, today announced that Francesca Scassellati Sforzolini has joined as a Partner in Brussels, focused on the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector and healthcare policy issues.
Francesca is a senior government relations and corporate affairs professional, with deep knowledge of the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector and healthcare policy in the European Union and beyond. She has spent more than 20 years designing and managing pan-European, multi-stakeholder strategies and leading public affairs and communications campaigns for global organizations in both the private and public sector. Most recently, she was Managing Director and Head of the Brussels office at Incisive Health. She has also held senior roles at GS1’s Global Office, the European Climate Foundation, Mars Inc. and Burson-Marsteller.
At Brunswick, Francesca will advise global healthcare and life sciences clients on healthcare policy and corporate-related matters.

About Francesca Scassellati Sforzolini
Francesca is a highly experienced government relations and corporate affairs professional, with deep knowledge of the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector and healthcare policy. She joins Brunswick from Incisive Health, where she was both Managing Director and Head of the Brussels office, which she established in 2017. There, she counseled clients on a range of complex healthcare challenges and established a network of healthcare policy advisors in key European Union member states.
Prior to that, she was Public Policy and Press Officer at GS1’s Global Office. Francesca began her career at Burson-Marsteller (now BCW) where she was a senior member of the firm’s healthcare team, before becoming Head of Communications at Mars Nutrition for Health & Wellbeing (a business unit of Mars Inc.) and, subsequently, Director of Stakeholder Communications and Operations Director of The European Climate Foundation.
Francesca received a B.A. in Political Science and European Law from the University of Bologna and the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (Sciences Po Strasbourg). She also has an M.A. in International Relations and Economics from The Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington, D.C.
