Debbie Frost joins Brunswick Group as a Senior Advisor in San Francisco

Brunswick Group, the strategic advisory firm focused on critical issues, today announced that Debbie Frost has joined as a Senior Advisor in the San Francisco office focused on advising technology companies in Silicon Valley and around the world.

Debbie brings 20 years of experience in helping companies develop international communications and public affairs capabilities as they scale to become global businesses. She ran global teams at two of the largest technology companies in the world, Google and Facebook, for many years.

At Brunswick, Debbie will advise clients on communications, corporate reputation and public affairs strategies to address a range of critical issues facing the global technology sector, including privacy and data protection and U.S. and international regulatory developments.

About Debbie Frost
Debbie was Vice-President of International and Policy Communications at Facebook from 2008 to 2019 and was a member of the executive leadership team.  She led media strategy on a diverse range of high profile policy issues and supported the growth of the company from 100M to 2B users around the world. 

Prior to joining Facebook, Debbie spent more than four years at Google, building the global communications function during the company’s hyper-growth years from 2002 to 2006. She helped launch AdWords and Gmail, and led media strategy for legal, policy and other corporate issues, including the launch of Google in China.

She spent her early career in the UK and Europe, managing communications at Nike and, before that, at a global public relations advisory firm.

Debbie is of dual nationality - British and Australian - and was born and raised in Hong Kong. She has an honors degree in Law from The University of Warwick in the U.K.
