Brunswick further strengthens its global ESG expertise.
Brunswick Group, the world’s leading critical issues advisory firm, announces that Dan Lambeth will join as a Partner in London on January 10, 2022, focused on environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues.
Dan has over 20 years’ experience in government and the financial services industry, most recently leading high-profile international ESG projects. He joins Brunswick from J.P. Morgan, where he led the firm’s sustainability agenda in Europe, advising and reporting on the management of sustainability risk across all asset classes and sectors. He previously served as Head of Regulatory Policy and Communication at the Royal Bank of Scotland and held senior roles at the London Stock Exchange and H.M. Treasury.

About Dan Lambeth
Dan is a recognized expert on ESG matters and brings deep knowledge from his experience advising Boards and other stakeholders on the management and reporting of sustainability risk and impacts across all sectors. He joins Brunswick after 11 years at J.P. Morgan, where he led the firm’s sustainability agenda. He previously served as Head of Regulatory Policy and Communication at the Royal Bank of Scotland, Senior Manager, Regulatory Strategy at the London Stock Exchange and Brand Head, Financial Services at H.M. Treasury.
He has advised clients on a wide range of regulatory developments, including SFDR, the Taxonomy Regulation, MiFID, AIMFD and UCITS. He has experience of working within government, the E.U., the G7 and the U.N. on the design and adoption of rules in areas including anti-money laundering, investigatory powers, collateral finance arrangements and post 9/11 contingency planning. Dan began his career as a Solicitor at Clifford Chance.
Dan’s non-executive Board roles have included serving as Deputy Chairman of the Depositary and Trustee Association and an independent member of the Governing Body of Goldsmiths College, University of London. He received a BA in Jurisprudence and an MSc in Taxation from the University of Oxford, as well as a Masters in Politics and Administration from the University of London. He is currently undertaking research at the University of Oxford on sustainability incentives.
