Brunswick Group, a global advisory firm specializing in critical issues and corporate relations, announced today that Charles Pretzlik has joined the firm as Partner in the London office. Charles is a trusted advisor to FTSE 100 companies and shareholders across a range of sectors, advising on more than 70 IPOs, rights issues, placings and M&A transactions.
He joins Brunswick from J.P. Morgan Cazenove, the leading UK equity adviser for each of the last 10 years, where he was Executive Director in the UK Equity Capital Markets team. He has worked with clients in Europe, the US, the Middle East, Australia and India. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Cazenove, Charles spent 10 years at the Financial Times where he was Banking Editor, leading the financial services team in London.

Charles was an Executive Director in the team and spent nine years advising companies and shareholders across a variety of sectors on more than 70 IPOs, rights issues, placings and M&A transactions.
Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Cazenove, Charles spent 10 years at the Financial Times and, before that, five years at The Daily Telegraph. At the FT, his roles included Banking Editor, leading the financial services team in London, and Assistant Editor in charge of corporate news, working with a team of reporters and editors around the world.
