Public affairs and media relations expert enhances capabilities in Germany and Europe.
December 14, 2022 – Brunswick Group, the world’s leading critical issues advisory firm, today announced that Anja Ingenrieth will join the firm as a Partner in Berlin on January 1, 2023.
Anja brings more than 20 years of public affairs and media relations experience to Brunswick. She has spent the last 4.5 years as Head of Deutsche Telekom AG’s EU Office and Vice President for European Affairs in Brussels. Previously, she held senior corporate communications and public affairs roles at Bayer in Brussels and in corporate headquarters in Leverkusen. Before that, she worked as a political journalist for almost 15 years, including as a correspondent focused on the EU and NATO in Brussels.
At Brunswick, Anja will further strengthen the firm’s public affairs and media relations capabilities in Europe, bringing her expertise in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications and Healthcare and Life Sciences sectors to bear for clients.

Anja joins Brunswick from Deutsche Telekom AG, where she was Head of the EU Office and Vice President for European Affairs in Brussels, responsible for advising senior executives on a range of EU-related matters and leading communications for regulatory initiatives, digital policy and sustainability issues.
Previously, Anja held senior public affairs and communications roles at Bayer in Brussels and in the corporate headquarters in Leverkusen. Before that, she was a political journalist for almost 15 years, including as a correspondent focused on the EU and NATO in Brussels.
Anja received an MA in English and French from the University of Düsseldorf and a BA in Etudes Franco-Allemandes from Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris.
