Monika joined Brunswick in 2007 and focuses on merger and acquisitions, shareholder activism, IPOs and investor relations and co-leads the firm's Global Capital Markets Advisory practice. She has worked on cross-border transactions such as AB InBev's acquisition of SABMiller, InBev's acquisition of Anheuser-Busch and Kraft Foods' acquisition of Cadbury plc, and also represented Western Digital in its acquisition of SanDisk as well as the split of Kraft into two companies. In addition, she has provided counsel in activism defense situations such as GE/Trian, Kate Spade/Caerus, Comtech/MMI and CF Industries/Third Point. She has also advised on Etsy, King and Groupon's IPOs.
