Rachael has advised on major merger reviews including Microsoft-Activision, Broadcom-VMware, NVIDIA-Arm, Alstom-Siemens, and Hyundai Heavy Industries-DSME, as well as Big Tech and leading global brands on a range of corporate reputation issues, including Apple, ASML, Didi Chuxing, SEA Group, Ant Group, SMIC, Sogou, Volkswagen, Gucci, Kering and Prudential. Additional notable experience includes advising: a Fortune 100 tech firm on geopolitical risks stemmed from the US-China relationship; a top semiconductor company on cybersecurity preparedness; a leading auto manufacturer on one its largest ever vehicle recalls in China; a pet food manufacturer on an online petfood safety scare; and a major luxury brand on employee malpractice.
Rachael spent 10 years in Brunswick’s Beijing office; she relocated to Brunswick’s London office in May 2022.
Rachael joined Brunswick from a professional services firm where she led the marketing and communications team. Prior to this, she was Business Development Manager for a UK trade and investment organization in Beijing. She holds a BA Honours in Mandarin and French from the University of Newcastle.
