Patrick Wu joins Brunswick Group as a Partner

Brunswick further strengthens its public affairs capabilities in China

December 23, 2022 - Brunswick Group, the world’s leading critical issues advisory firm, today announced that Patrick Wu will join the firm as a Partner in Beijing on January 1, 2023.

Patrick brings more than three decades of public affairs experience in China, having served in senior roles in the public and private sectors. Most recently, he led the Asia Pacific business at Aerospace Long March International Trade Co., where his responsibilities included public affairs and international relations across the region. Prior to that, Patrick held senior positions at different Chinese government agencies, and served in diplomatic roles in the UK, Australia and Singapore.

At Brunswick, Patrick will help Chinese and international clients navigate complex regulatory and policy issues and prepare for, and respond to, crises.

About Patrick Wu

Patrick joins Brunswick from Aerospace Long March International Trade Co., where he led the company’s business in the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to that, Patrick held senior positions at different Chinese government agencies and served in various diplomatic roles, including as Second Secretary at the Chinese Embassy in Singapore and Third Secretary at the Chinese Embassy in Australia.

Patrick received a Master of Public Policy from University College London and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of International Relations in Beijing.
