Based in London, he advises global companies, foundations and nonprofits across the healthcare and life sciences sector, as well as other fields. During the pandemic, James focused on the development and distribution of Covid-19 vaccines and the evolution of the coronavirus as a reporter at Bloomberg. He also covered some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical and biotech companies and topics ranging from cancer to AI, contributing to Bloomberg Businessweek magazine. Between 2009 and 2016, he was part of the company’s Asian energy team in Sydney. James has also worked in the US for news outlets including Reuters, a joint venture between The New York Times and TheStreet.com and the Rocky Mountain News in Denver. He has degrees from Northwestern University and Binghamton University.
