Director Phil Ryan and Partner Marshall Manson spoke at Goldman Sachs & McKinsey's European M&A Conference on the 12th of February 2020. They were part of the session "Digital Communications and M&A: The changing Landscape".
This session focused on how political intervention, increased regulatory oversight, shareholder activism and a sometimes negative media landscape can all shape M&A activity and outcomes. Together, they discussed how digital communications is increasingly being used to help overcome these headwinds, as well as how institutional investors are using digital tools to help them make investment decisions. They also covered what good digital M&A content looks like and how it’s been used on deals across Europe and further afield.
