On 19 February Caroline Daniel moderated 'The Role of Cities in a Global Economy'.
LSE Chicago hosted the event with speaker Rahm Emanuel, twice-elected Mayor or Chicago, discussing the influence of cities and how they shape world affairs. In his experience as Mayor and as well as representing Chicago in Congress for three terms, Rahm has a wealth of experience facing the challenges faced by cities such as climate change, health care, and infrastructure.
