Simon advises clients on media, public affairs and campaign strategy. He combines consultant and in-house experience running public policy campaigns and advising both established and fast-growth companies.

Simon leads Brunswick’s practice in power, renewables and new energy technologies. Drawing on his deep experience in the sector he supports companies, investors and trade lobbies on how to prosper through the energy transition. His client experience includes advising BP, Centrica, National Grid, Lightsource BP, NIO, JCB, Drax and the Energy Networks Association.

Prior to Brunswick Simon worked for Riverstone, one of the world’s largest energy-focused private equity firms, where he worked on deals across the full spectrum of energy sectors including E&P, midstream, energy services, power and alternative energy. He began his career writing speeches for former BP CEO, Lord Browne.

Beyond energy Simon has advised several large consumer brands on a variety of strategic communications issues including BT, Barclays and BNP Paribas. In 2016 he was seconded to BT in the role of Campaign Director where he ran the company’s response to Ofcom’s Digital Communications Review.
