Rowan Brown


Rowan is a member of Brunswick's financial services sector team, advising a number of listed and private companies across banking, stock exchanges, fintech and private equity.

He has extensive experience working closely with clients on a range of corporate and financial communications issues including M&A, IPOs, shareholder activism, international profile-raising, thought leadership campaigns and crisis communications.

Rowan joined Brunswick from financial communications consultancy, Maitland. Prior to this, he worked with the Institute of Directors developing its digital communications strategy.

Rowan has also provided support to a range of corporate clients outside the financial services including BG Group, Weir Group, Norilsk Nickel, Shop Direct and Daily Mail & General Trust. His transaction experience is varied and features Man Group’s acquisition of GLG, Sabadell’s acquisition of TSB, the IPOs of Riverstone Energy and CVC Credit Opportunities in London, and Alibaba’s $25 billion listing on the New York Stock Exchange.
