She is a highly experienced corporate affairs practitioner with extensive expertise across public affairs, crisis management and strategic communications. Over the last two decades, she has worked with some of the world’s biggest companies to help them navigate political and regulatory risks, and protect and build their licence to operate. This has included working with organisations on controversial issues such as financial crime, internet safety, gender pay, and outsourcing, as well as running proactive campaigns on issues including sustainability and financial education.
Prior to joining Brunswick, Jess was a Senior Managing Director, Co-Head of Public Affairs at Teneo in London. There, she led a range of client accounts in sectors including financial and professional services, tech, retail, leisure, healthcare and life sciences. She also built and led the firm’s UK crisis practice.
Jess holds a Masters Degree in Modern History and Politics from the University of Oxford.
