Andrea is a highly experienced senior executive, Board member and competition practitioner. She has 25 years’ experience of assessing cutting edge competition issues in both the private and public sector.

Prior to joining Brunswick, Andrea was a member of the CMA Board and, as Executive Director, was responsible for delivery of the CMA’s markets and mergers work, including acting as a decision maker on many of the most complex Phase 1 mergers. She led a multi-disciplinary team of over 130 colleagues in delivering this work and was also responsible for ensuring the CMA’s preparedness for taking on additional and more complex merger reviews following Brexit.  As part of the role, she worked closely with other government departments in developing policy and new legislation. 

Andrea joined the CMA from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer where she was a partner.
