Alison has more than a decade of communications experience, working with public and private companies as well as charities and campaign groups. She works with organisations to define their mission and values, and to develop targeted communications campaigns for audiences including investors, media, government and employees. She has advised clients through M&A, IPOs, financial and operational restructurings, board and management changes, issues management and crisis response. Her clients include Barratt Developments, Anya Hindmarch, Direct Line Group, Annington Homes and FirstGroup.
Alison’s background is in Psychology, previously holding a Research Assistant post at the University of California, Irvine.
Her transactional experience includes the agreed sale of Dairy Crest plc to Saputo Inc., the break up and sale of EMI Music to Universal Music Group and Sony/ATV; the $2.3bn debt restructuring of Punch Taverns; and Charter International's hostile defence against Melrose and the subsequent recommended $2.4bn takeover by Colfax Corporation.
