With rich knowledge and experience in analysing political, economic and business trends in Asia Pacific, Yuki’s intellectual curiosity has led him to research and analyze how these macro trends impact on financial and capital markets across the region.
Diligent in his approach, he conducts thorough analysis to develop high-value insights for clients, and he believes in the benefits of uncovering and deciphering cultural nuances. Prior to joining Brunswick in 2022, Yuki led research and public affairs activities at a top-tier Japanese trading and investment house, as well as at a NY-based multi-strategy hedge fund. Yuki started his career as an intelligence analyst with the Japanese foreign service, he was also a political advisor at the Japanese Embassy in Malaysia, where he advised the ambassador on political stakeholder mapping and engagement strategies.
Yuki has a Bachelor of Arts in Law from Sophia University in Japan, a Master of Science in International Development, and a PhD in Politics from the University of Bristol. He speaks English, Japanese, Bahasa Indonesia, and Bahasa Malaysia.
