Stephan Bürklin

Stephan advises clients across a range of sectors on how to secure business outcomes through strategic engagement with media, political stakeholders, and capital markets. He specializes in financial communications, corporate reputation, and issues management.

Between 2021 and 2024, Stephan worked in Brunswick’s Singapore office, supporting clients across Southeast Asia. He was previously based in Munich, where he acted as Chief of Staff to the firm’s European Managing Partner.

Prior to joining Brunswick in 2016, Stephan served as a speechwriter to the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in Geneva. He brings additional experience from the U.S. Senate, the American Enterprise Institute, and the Konrad Adenauer Foundation.

A dual German-American citizen, he holds a master’s degree in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Wheaton College (IL).
