Simon has worked at Brunswick since 1998 becoming a Partner in 2005 and Managing Partner of London, the largest of Brunswick’s 24 offices, between 2014 and 2021.
As Managing Partner, Simon oversaw the fundamental shift from Brunswick’s longstanding position as the UK’s market leader in financial communications to a much stronger and more diverse client offering across public affairs, cyber, litigation, investor engagement, employee engagement and digital, among others.
His tenure as Managing Partner saw three UK general elections and Brexit disrupt the London market considerably. Despite this the UK business continued to excel, growing significantly under Simon’s leadership, in addition to maintaining its position as the leader and dominant force in the M&A league tables.
This deep experience, together with Simon’s international expertise, is now applied to his work with some of Brunswick’s biggest clients.
Simon has held Board positions at a number of charities including Place2Be and Central School of Ballet, as well as giving advice to a range of other charitable and not for profit organisations both in London and at home in Hertfordshire. He was a Non-Executive Director of MerchantCantos during its integration, turnaround and a period of rapid growth.
Prior to Brunswick, Simon completed an MBA and served in the British Army, including a tour of Bosnia and being attached to 5 Airborne Brigade.
