Prior to joining Brunswick, she gained a full-spectrum experience on the energy sector, ranging from project development to communications, stakeholder engagement and ESG issues. She spent a significant part of her career with Enel, where she covered several positions, ranging from leading the Communications and Stakeholders function in Brussels, to assisting the top management on communications and sustainability matters and developing new business in Africa and the Middle East. Before Enel she also worked on international sustainability initiatives such as the Desertec Industrial Initiative in Germany, RES4Africa in Italy and IRENA’s Coalition for Action in Abu Dhabi. She also worked as a journalist and newsreader for an Italian TV news channels for 7 years.
A former Fulbright scholar, she holds a Master’s degree in International Economics and Middle Eastern studies from the School of Advanced International Studies of Johns Hopkins University. Roberta is fluent in Italian, English, French, Spanish and proficient in Arabic.
