Robert Bischof

Robert Bischof joined Brunswick in 2024. He is a seasoned advisor with a 20-year track record of working with clients at board level across sectors and issue areas. He provides counsel to German and international clients on a broad set of strategic corporate and finance matters.

Prior to joining Brunswick, Robert was a Senior Partner and European Practice Group Leader at Strategy&, the strategy consultancy of PwC. In this role he grew the business and advised clients on the most critical topics around strategy, growth, cost transformation and ESG. Before that, he was the Managing Director of the Max Planck Foundation, where he oversaw the successful reorganization of the Foundation, expanding its endowment to more than 500 million Euros. Prior to that, Robert spent eight years at Bain & Company, leading client work on strategy development and digitalization, mainly for banks, asset managers and private equity firms. He started his career as an associate to the then Group CFO of Siemens AG.

Robert Bischof holds a degree in Mathematics from Yale University and an Executive MBA from Imadec in cooperation with the McCombs School of Business. He was a holder of the prestigious scholarship for highly gifted students of the free state of Bavaria.
