With over 30 years’ experience engaging boards of APAC companies on critical governance issues, Pru is an expert at helping companies build trust through strong governance.

Formerly head of Investment Stewardship for Blackrock APAC, Pru is deeply connected with the investment community and closely tracks the evolving expectations of the world’s largest investors. She has assisted clients navigating their way through shareholder meetings, including advice on shareholder proposals—a skill developed over 12 years as a proxy advisor—and applied her insight, understanding and strategic approach to innumerable governance issues.

Pru is active in public debates on corporate governance, stewardship, and responsible investment. She works with clients to develop sustainability strategies and engagement plans to ensure effective communications to all stakeholders. Pru helps drive productive dialogues between investors and senior leaders, and creates governance roadmaps for long-term sustainable returns.

Pru is the Chair of the National Foundation for Australia China Relations and a member of the Australian Financial Reporting Council. Pru is also a director of the UN Global Compact Network Australia, a member of the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Corporate Governance Advisory Committee, a council member of the Asian Corporate Governance Association, and a member of Deakin University Integrated Reporting Centre Advisory Board. She is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales.
