Paul Durman is a partner in Brunswick’s London office, having joined the firm’s market-leading technology team in 2021.

He is an experienced adviser to leading companies who has spent 15 years in financial and corporate communications, working predominantly with telecoms, media and technology firms. Paul is a media relations specialist with extensive experience of communicating complex business challenges, and of M&A, corporate turnarounds and crisis communications.  

His clients with interests in the sector have included BT, Dialog Semiconductor, Ericsson, Intelsat, Openreach, Orange, United Group, Viasat, Vivendi and Warburg Pincus. 

Before joining Brunswick, he was a managing director at Teneo and, before that, head of the TMT practice at Powerscourt. He began his career as a financial journalist, working for The Times, The Mail on Sunday and The Independent. He spent seven years at the Sunday Times, where he focused on the TMT sector and was both City Editor and Financial Editor.  

Paul received a B.A. in Politics and Economics from the University of Warwick, and a postgraduate diploma in journalism from the Centre for Journalism Studies, University College, Cardiff.
