Her experience has included eBay Inc.'s defense against activist investor Carl Icahn, landmark initial public offerings for Facebook and Alibaba, Silver Lake’s take-private of Dell, Applied Materials’ merger with Tokyo Electron, and BGI's purchase of Complete Genomics (the first ever Chinese acquisition of a US-listed company).
She transferred to New York after more than three years in Brunswick’s San Francisco office. Before Brunswick she worked at Goldman Sachs in consumer-retail equity research. She has an MBA from the Wharton School, a Master’s in International Studies focused on East Asia from the University of Pennsylvania, and an A.B. from Princeton University. She is highly proficient in Mandarin Chinese, and she also speaks French and German.
