William Medvei

Will Medvei is Brunswick’s European Energy & Resources Sector Lead and a senior adviser to companies across the global energy, resources and industrial sectors. He advises boards and executive teams on strategic communications, financial communications, investor relations, corporate positioning and major transaction situations.

Will has advised on more than $300 billion of energy sector transactions, including IPOs, M&A, and other complex financial situations. His experience spans oil and gas, power, utilities, renewable generation, metals and mining, with mandates across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America.

He has advised many of the world’s leading energy and natural resources companies, including Saudi Aramco, ADNOC, OMV, EDP, Teck Resources, Enel and Sasol.

Will has 20 years of experience in the energy industry. Before joining Brunswick in 2014, he worked in the acquisitions team at GDF Suez (now Engie) and began his career as an analyst at Wood Mackenzie. He is a graduate of the University of Edinburgh and holds a master’s degree from SOAS, University of London.
