Susan advises clients on a range of business critical issues with an emphasis on public and regulatory affairs, crisis communications, and reputation management.

Working across a range of sectors, including technology, finance, and professional services, she has supported clients navigating complex litigation, government investigations, regulatory proceedings, and other corporate reputation matters. She is a member of the firm’s Public Affairs, Policy and Regulatory practice group. 

Before joining Brunswick, she was Head of Global Policy at Ripple, a digital assets payments company, where she led the company’s strategy and execution with respect to all aspects of its government and regulator engagement. Prior to that, she served as a Senior Advisor to former Assistant Secretary for International Markets Heath Tarbert at the U.S. Treasury Department where she helped develop and execute on strategic priorities related to international financial services regulation, investment security, and trade. Susan began her career at WilmerHale, focusing on government and regulatory litigation. 

She holds a B.A. from Duke University and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
