Sam Salk
Director, Office of the CEO
Sam works directly with Brunswick CEO Henry Timms, advising on external engagements, brand reputation, and select client work.
He is a 20-year veteran of presidential campaigns and federal government service, having held senior staff roles in the White House during the Obama-Biden Administration and, most recently, serving in the Senior Foreign Service as Chief of Staff to the U.S. Ambassador to the United Kingdom while stationed in London. In that role, he served as a key connector between the Ambassador and cultural, financial, and political institutions, helping ensure the United States was effectively represented across the United Kingdom.
Early in his career, Sam was among the first hires on Barack Obama’s initial presidential campaign and later led all events and logistics for the 2020 Biden-Harris campaign. During the global COVID-19 pandemic, he played a critical role in pivoting the campaign to a fully remote posture, enabling the candidate to engage virtually with national and international media outlets and stakeholders. As the campaign evolved, Sam reimagined traditional political rallies, designing formats that allowed for safe, in-person participation.
Sam earned his bachelor’s degree from Ohio Wesleyan University.
