Ruairidh Macintosh
Director

Ruairidh helps clients understand and respond to a range of social, environmental and political challenges.
He has particular experience on the transition to net zero, working with clients across banking, insurance, and energy to navigate the politics, economics, and expectations of the transition – and explain how they plan to succeed through it.
With a background in understanding voter attitudes, he is interested in finding new ways to communicate effectively with sceptical audiences. Ruairidh took time away from Brunswick to work on the last UK General Election, focusing on political strategy and communications. More widely, he has worked on the politics of net zero and what a successful and popular approach would require.
Ruairidh joined Brunswick after completing an MPhil from the University of Cambridge. He graduated with an MA from the University of St Andrews where he also won the European Universities Debating Championship.
