Preetika Rana joined Brunswick as a Director after a 14-year-career at The Wall Street Journal around the globe. She advises the world’s leading technology and media companies on storytelling, crisis and high-stakes communication challenges, drawing on her expertise as an award-winning reporter and journalism professor.
Preetika has lived in New York, San Francisco, Hong Kong and New Delhi, cultivating a deep understanding of business across industries and cultures. As a journalist, she covered leaders at defining moments—amid boardroom shakeups, IPOs, regulatory battles and breakthrough innovations.
Her coverage of tech tycoons and Silicon Valley was a fixture of The Wall Street Journal’s front page, while her investigative work overseas—spanning healthcare to consumer companies—shaped corporate practices and public policy. She understands what builds trust and what erodes it, helping CEOs and C-suite leaders navigate complexity with clarity, credibility and impact.
Outside work, Preetika is a certified yoga instructor and cares deeply about building happy and healthy teams. She continues to mentor reporters and recently taught the business journalism program at UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.
