Nathalie Baudon

Nathalie has more than 15 years of experience in strategic communication and public affairs advisory for executives, businesses, institutional organizations, as well as a strong track record in the political sphere working for President Emmanuel Macron from 2017 to 2020.

Nathalie was a Director at Brunswick in Paris from 2014 to 2017, where she advised French and international businesses facing critical situations: M&A, IPOs, social crises, cyber or product crises, CEO profile raising and public affairs strategy. Since 2024, Nathalie came back to Brunswick as a Special Advisor, to support the team notably on sensitive issues and public affairs advisory.

Nathalie began her career at the communication consulting firm Financial Dynamics (formerly FTI Consulting) where she advised corporates on crisis management, financial communication, profile raising through media and institutional positioning strategies. In 2011, she joined Havas Paris where she supported French and international groups in managing various reputational issues – restructurings, social or governance crises, public takeovers – as well as in managing their long-term communication strategies.

After 10 years working in French leading communication consultancies, Nathalie contributed to Emmanuel Macron’s campaign in 2017 and joined the French Presidency at the Elysée Palace right after his election in May 2017. As part of the Presidential cabinet, she headed Emmanuel Macron’s international communication, serving as International Communication Advisor. Working closely with other members of the cabinet, Prime Minister and various Ministers cabinets, her role included managing and coordinating the communication strategy, media relations, social media, and image related to the President’s position-taking, official trips across the world and diplomatic and international events. She notably led the communication for high-level summits and events such as Choose France Summit, One Planet Summit, Tech for Good Summit, G7 Biarritz. She also advised on strategic communication for the President’s international trips: state visits, official trips, European summits, G7 and G20 summits, United Nations General Assembly, etc.

Nathalie is a former student of the École Normale Supérieure in Humanities and Social Sciences. She is also a graduate of Sciences Po Paris (Master in Public Affairs).

She is fluent in English and Russian.
