Michael O’Looney

Michael advises clients on strategy, financial communications, including M&A and activism, crisis and other critical business and reputational issues.

Michael joined Brunswick from Elliott Management, where he was Head of Communications and responsible for, among other things, corporate communications, media relations and running communications on a number of high-profile activist campaigns. Prior to this, he was Managing Director and Head of Corporate Communications for Barclays in the Americas and, before that, Managing Director and Head of Corporate Communications for Merrill Lynch. He is also a former Deputy Police Commissioner for the New York City Police Department and an Emmy-nominated television reporter for WCBS, CBS News, and New York 1 News.
