Micaela advises on EU political and regulatory issues, primarily supporting clients on the public affairs and communications dimensions of competition and regulatory matters, including mergers and acquisitions, antitrust investigations, State aid, and the EU Foreign Subsidies Regulation.
She is an expert in regulatory media, helping clients manage complex policy narratives in high-stakes environments.
Before joining Brunswick, Micaela worked at a Brussels-based consultancy, advising clients on the public affairs aspects of EU competition cases. She previously practiced as a competition lawyer at Uría Menéndez in Madrid and Brussels, and Marval O’Farrell & Mairal in Buenos Aires.
Micaela holds an LL.M. in Competition Law from Queen Mary University of London, and was awarded a Chevening Scholarship by the UK Government. She also worked as a research assistant on national security and public interest matters during her time there.
