Mauricio brings more than 20 years of global experience as an investment banker and senior executive at the intersection of finance, strategy, and impact.
Mauricio is a trusted advisor to global stakeholders navigating complex financial and societal challenges. He specializes in stakeholder engagement and scaling capital solutions that advance inclusive economic development while delivering long-term value for investors and organizations.
Before joining Brunswick, Mauricio led the Impact Investing and Capital Solutions unit at a global NGO, working with financial institutions, corporations, and philanthropic partners to mobilize capital through multi-stakeholder initiatives. Earlier in his career, he spent a decade as a Director in Barclays’ Real Estate Investment Banking Group in New York, advising public and private companies on capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic financing.
He holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and Masters’ and B.A. degrees in Economics from Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia.
