Mara James
Director
Mara is a Director in the Financial Practice Group at Brunswick.
She began her career at Elliott Management where she worked for five years, first in research and later in communications where supported campaigns across a wide variety of companies, industries and situations. Most recently, Mara managed marketing, and investor reporting for a global impact investor focused on emerging and frontier markets. Much of her work focuses on shareholder activism and investor engagement.
She holds a BA from Tufts University and an MBA from New York University.
