Kate works across the healthcare, education, and technology sectors, advising clients on a range of matters including reputation, issues, and crisis management, media relations and training, executive visibility, and litigation communications. She is a core member of Brunswick’s Healthcare & Life Sciences practice.
Kate draws on her 15 years of experience as an award-winning journalist to help clients manage their most pressing issues, solve problems, and tell meaningful stories that make an impact.
Prior to joining Brunswick in 2021, Kate was an anchor and reporter for ABC News in San Francisco and NBC News in Los Angeles. Her reporting spanned major events from the 2008 financial crisis to California wildfires and the COVID-19 pandemic. She began her broadcast career in California’s Central Valley, first in Bakersfield and later in Sacramento, where she covered state politics during the administrations of Governors Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jerry Brown.
Kate received her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
