Karina is a Partner in the Global Antitrust and Competition practice where she helps clients navigate regulatory scrutiny, complex transactions, and critical public affairs challenges, with particular expertise in digital markets and emerging AI regulatory frameworks.

Her wealth of experience at the intersection of antitrust policy, regulatory strategy, and public affairs enables her to advise clients on the rapidly evolving competition landscape, including platform regulation and technology governance issues.

Until recently, Karina served as Chief of Competition Policy and Advocacy at the U.S. Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division, where she played a key role in shaping legislative and regulatory initiatives and led cross-sector advocacy efforts to promote competitive markets. Prior to joining DOJ, Karina was a senior correspondent at The Capitol Forum, where she covered developments in competition and regulatory policy. She also practiced antitrust law at Shearman & Sterling in New York, advising clients on complex merger reviews and enforcement matters across industries.
