Joao Lima

João is a Director based in Lisbon.

He joined Brunswick in November 2025 after 25 years at Bloomberg, including 15 years as Bureau Chief in Portugal as well as roles in Spain, covering areas including banking, energy, industry and infrastructure. João brings deep knowledge of the media and a sharp understanding of the issues shaping Iberian markets. His experience can strengthen our offer across the region, helping corporates navigate complexity, engage stakeholders, and tell their story.

He holds an MSc in European Politics and Policy from the London School of Economics, and a degree in political science from Cambridge University. João is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
