Jamil brings a wealth of experience in advising Middle Eastern and multinational companies on their capital markets, investor relations, and corporate reputation activities.
Aligned to Brunswick’s Financial Practice, Jamil has spearheaded numerous high-profile client engagements involving multibillion-dollar IPOs, mergers & acquisitions, and restructuring projects across the Gulf and globally. In terms of sectors, he focuses more deeply on financial services, real estate, and large family businesses.
A Saudi national, Jamil joined Brunswick in 2016. Prior to that, he was a strategy consultant at Monitor Deloitte advising public and private sector clients with operations across the Middle East; and a treasury products dealer at Saudi National Bank catering to a cross-sector client portfolio on their treasury, hedging, and investment requirements.
Jamil earned his MBA from The George Washington University School of Business and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance & Marketing) from Concordia University. He is a Certified Investor Relations Officer (CIRO) from the Middle East Investor Relations Association (MEIRA). He also holds certifications in private markets and alternative investments from Harvard Business School and the CFA Institute.
