Gordon has been advising clients for over 18 years on their corporate reputation, media, stakeholder relations and issues management.
He has advised many companies and management teams across a variety of sectors with a focus on corporate positioning, financial situations and crisis communications.
He has worked on several key projects and milestones including the first transaction in South Africa that required public interest approval from South Africa’s Competition Commission when Walmart purchased a majority share in Massmart. Gordon was also part of the team advising Old Mutual on the Managed Separation and worked as Acting Head of Communication for Old Mutual Emerging Markets where he oversaw the communications function.
Prior to joining Brunswick in 2006, he worked at Arcay Communications where he provided communications support to several mid cap companies. He has also worked as a communications consultant at Mutual & Federal (Old Mutual Insure) providing communications support to the Africa (East & West Africa) & New Markets division.
