Darrell advises a range of influential institutions, art market leaders, and corporate clients on opportunities and critical issues relevant to the arts & culture landscape.
Prior to Brunswick, Darrell spent 15 years in the commercial art world. He began his career at Sotheby’s auction house, working his way from intern to Co-Worldwide Head of Communications. During his time, he shared the stories behind many iconic works and collections – from Edvard Munch’s ‘The Scream’ to Marie Antoinette’s jewels – in addition to leading corporate, financial, crisis, and internal communications, and developing the company’s leading social media presence.
Prior to Brunswick, Darrell dove into the world of NFTs as Head of Communications for MakersPlace. The marketplace launched digital art onto the world stage when it sourced and sold Beeple’s ‘Everydays: The First 5000 Days’ for $69 million in partnership with Christie’s.
