Christopher Thompson

Christopher advises on financial communications, crises, M&A, IPOs and improving media relationships for clients across Europe and the UK. He joined Brunswick in November 2021 after nearly two decades as a financial journalist and columnist.

Most recently he was a columnist at Reuters Breakingviews where he wrote about European companies and, beforehand, the banking writer on the Lex column at the Financial Times where he previously worked as a corporate reporter and economics editor. Christopher also worked as a news presenter at Radio France Internationale in Paris, and from myriad locations across Africa for top-tier US and UK publications including Time Magazine, the Spectator, the Guardian and the New Statesman. Based in London, Christopher is also a member of the Spain team. He is proficient in Spanish, Portuguese and French.
